The Doctor Mi! DERMAROLLER is generally suitable for adults who want to tighten and rejuvenate their skin or improve its texture: regardless of whether you have normal, dry or mature skin, women's or men's skin. Only in the following cases we expressly advise against the use of a dermaroller:

• Active acne

How does a dermaroller generate a skin-rejuvenating effect?

Due to its fine and pointed needles, the Doctor Mi! DERMAROLLER for your face and body causes minimal but controlled microinjuries in your upper skin layer. This way, microneedling (the application of the dermaroller) stimulates your cells from the outside to incite cell regeneration: Through these microinjuries, your skin is activated in producing the body's own collagen. This structural protein gives your skin tone and elasticity. However, the body's collagen production decreases with age resulting in wrinkles and fine lines. Is the treatment with a dermaroller for your face and body also suitable for pigment disorders?

Yes, in the case of pigment disorders, such as melasma, treating your skin with our DERMAROLLER achieves very positive results.

Important: Cleansing products such as gels, toners, peelings or masks should not be applied to the skin with a dermaroller. However, we advise you to cleanse your skin with TONE or TONE.S before microneedling.

Can I also treat the eye area and lips with the Doctor Mi! DERMAROLLER?

Yes, you can, in fact, even treat your eye and lip area with the Doctor Mi! DERMAROLLER. You can effectively counteract wrinkles and fine lines in these areas and significantly reduce their depth. However, we recommend that you make conscious and controlled movements and, of course, be careful.

By the way, you can also treat your neck and décolletage with the DERMAROLLER and visibly improve your skin texture.

How do I properly clean my skin and DERMAROLLER before use?

Before using the Doctor Mi! DERMAROLLER, we recommend cleansing your skin with our cleansing gel CLEAN and peeling PEEL, then applying TONE (TONE.S for impure skin). Afterwards we recommend microneedling with RED.

Important: Ideally, you should rinse your DERMAROLLER with hot water before and after each use. Alternatively, you can also use isopropanol (70%).

How often can I treat the skin on my face and body with the DERMAROLLER?

Microneedling, treating your skin with the dermaroller, you can do every 2-3 days. We do not recommend a more frequent use. In addition, you should take care of your skin 24 hours after the using it. You should avoid direct sunlight and cold temperatures, in particular.

Can I share a dermaroller with another person?

No, you should never share a dermaroller with another person, neither with your partner nor a family member. This is a hygiene product that you alone should use.

How long does a dermaroller last before I should replace it and buy a new one?

You can use a dermaroller about 30 times when using regularly. After that, you should replace it to continue to achieve optimal results.

Can I buy dermarollers with longer needles?

If you are not trained in the use of dermarollers, we do not recommend longer needles. The needle length of the Doctor Mi! dermaroller is 0.25 mm - the optimal length with which you can penetrate your upper skin layer without harming your skin in a careful and conscious way and at the same time achieving the best results. Therefore, we advise you not to buy a dermaroller with longer needles.

Where is the Mi! DERMAROLLER made?

Like all other Doctor Mi! medical skincare products, our DERMAROLLER for face and body is produced entirely in Munich.
