1. Access data and hosting

This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the site and improving our offer. This serves to protect our overriding legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR as part of a balancing of interests. All access data is deleted no later than one month after the end of your site visit.
Hosting

Unless otherwise explained in this privacy policy, all access data as well as all data collected in designated forms on this website are processed on their servers. The adequacy decisions for the USA serve as the basis for third-country data transfers, provided that the respective service provider is certified. Until certification by our service providers, data transfers continue to rely on this basis: Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
Our service providers are located in and/or use servers in these countries: Australia, India, Singapore.
For these countries, there is no adequacy decision from the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council. Our cooperation with them is based on these guarantees: Standard data protection clauses of the European Commission

- the IP address of the requesting computer,
- the email address,

and the one-pixel technologies with your email address or your IP address and, if applicable, an individual ID. Links contained in the newsletter may also contain this ID.
If you do not wish to have newsletter tracking, it is possible at any time to unsubscribe from the newsletter as previously described.
The information is stored as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter.

6. Cookies and other technologies
6.1 General Information
To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use technologies including so-called cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).
Privacy protection on end devices
When using our online services, we employ strictly necessary technologies to provide the expressly desired telemedia service. The storage of information on your device or access to information already stored on your device does not require consent in this respect.
For functions that are not strictly necessary, storing information on your device or accessing information already stored on your device requires your consent. We would like to point out that if you do not give your consent, parts of the website may not be fully usable. Any consents you have given will remain in effect until you adjust or reset the respective settings on your device.
Subsequent data processing through cookies and other technologies
We use technologies that are strictly necessary for the use of certain functions of our website (e.g., shopping cart function). These technologies collect and process IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website (e.g., information about the contents of the shopping cart). This serves, within the framework of a balancing of interests, overriding legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
In addition, we use technologies to fulfill the legal obligations to which we are subject (e.g., to be able to prove consent to the processing of your personal data) as well as for web analysis and online marketing. Further information on this, including the respective legal basis for data processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. If applicable, we also use technologies that are not listed individually in this privacy policy. More information about these technologies, including the respective legal basis for data processing, can be found on the Usercentrics platform. You can access this by clicking on the fingerprint button in the lower right or left corner of the page.
What types of cookies are used?
Cookie Settings
The cookie settings for your browser can be found at the following links: Microsoft Edge™ / Safari™ / Chrome™ / Firefox™ / Opera™
To the extent that you have consented to the use of technologies in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, you can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the contact option described in the privacy policy. Alternatively, you can click on the fingerprint button in the lower right or left corner of the page. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.
6.2 Use of Usercentrics Consent Management Platform for Managing Consents
On our website, we use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform ("Usercentrics") to inform you about the cookies and other technologies we use on our website, as well as to obtain, manage, and document your possibly legally required consent to the processing of your personal data by these technologies. This is necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR to fulfill our legal obligation under Art. 7 para. 1 GDPR to be able to prove your consent to the processing of your personal data, to which we are subject. Usercentrics is an offering of Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany, which processes your data on our behalf. When visiting our website, the Usercentrics web server stores a so-called server log file, which also contains your anonymized IP address, date and time of the visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your consent behavior. Your data will be deleted after three years, unless you have explicitly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.
Our service providers are located and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have determined an adequate level of data protection by decision: USA.
The adequacy decisions for the USA serve as the basis for third-country transfers, provided that the respective service provider is certified. A certification is in place.
6.3 Information on Third-Country Transfer (Data Transfer to Third Countries)
We use technologies from service providers on our website whose headquarters and/or server locations may be in third countries outside the EU or the EEA. If there is no adequacy decision by the EU Commission for this country, an adequate level of data protection must be ensured through other appropriate safeguards.
Suitable guarantees in the form of contractually agreed standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission or binding internal data protection regulations (Binding Corporate Rules) are generally possible, but require prior review by the contracting parties to determine whether an adequate level of protection can be ensured. According to the case law of the CJEU, it may be necessary to take additional protective measures.
We have generally agreed with the technology providers we use, who process personal data in a third country, to the standard data protection clauses issued by the EU Commission. Where possible, we also agree on additional guarantees to ensure that adequate data protection is maintained in third countries without an adequacy decision.
Regardless, it may happen that despite all contractual and technical measures, the level of data protection in the third country does not correspond to that of the EU. In such cases, if necessary, we ask you within the framework of the cookie consent for your consent pursuant to Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR for the transfer of your personal data to a third country.
There is particularly the risk that local authorities of the third country may not have sufficiently restricted access rights to your personal data from a European data protection perspective, that we as the data exporter or you as the data subject may not be aware of this, and/or that you may not have sufficient legal remedies available to prevent this and/or to take action against such access.
In particular, the following countries are currently considered third countries without an adequacy decision from the EU Commission (example list):
- China
- Russia
- Taiwan
Which third countries data is transferred to by us can be found in the data protection information for the respective tool used and/or the service we use for consent management/Consent Manager Platform (CMP).
7. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies
We use the following cookies and other third-party technologies on our website. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, this is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. After the purpose has ceased and the respective technology is no longer used by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Further information about your revocation options can be found in the section "Cookies and other technologies." Further information, including the basis of our cooperation with the individual providers, can be found under the respective technologies. If you have any questions about the providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact the contact option described in this privacy policy.
7.1 Use of Google Services
We use the technologies of Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google") as described below. The information automatically collected by the Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and stored there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement concluded between joint controllers for the respective technology in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in the Google Privacy Policy.
Our service providers are located in and/or use servers in countries outside Switzerland, the EU, and the EEA, for which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have determined an adequate level of data protection by decision.
Our service providers are located in and/or use servers in countries outside Switzerland, the EU, and the EEA. There is no adequacy decision from the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council for these countries. Our cooperation with them is based on standard data protection clauses from the European Commission.
Google Analytics
For the purpose of website analysis, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website) are automatically collected and stored with Google Analytics, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. If you visit our website from the EU, your IP address is stored on a server located in the EU to derive location data and then immediately deleted before the traffic is forwarded to other Google servers for processing. The data processing is carried out based on an agreement on order processing by Google.
For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for "Google products and services" . This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google services. The data sharing with Google within the scope of these data sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between controllers. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.
For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we use the so-called User ID function. With the help of this function, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to your interaction data from one or more sessions on our online presences and thus analyze your user behavior across devices and sessions.
For web analysis, the extension function of Google Analytics, Google Signals, enables so-called "Cross-Device Tracking." As long as your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account, Google can generate reports about your usage behavior (especially the cross-device user numbers), even if you switch your device. We do not process any personal data in this regard; we only receive statistics created based on Google Signals.
For web analysis and advertising purposes, the so-called DoubleClick cookie is enabled through the extension function of Google Analytics, allowing your browser to be recognized when visiting other websites. Google will use this information to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services related to website usage.
Google AdSense
Our website markets space for third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. These ads are displayed to you at various locations on this website. The so-called DoubleClick cookie enables the display of interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website) and by automatically assigning a pseudonymous UserID, which helps determine interests based on visits to this and other websites.
Google Ads
For advertising purposes in Google search results as well as on third-party websites, the so-called Google Remarketing cookie is set when visiting our website. This cookie automatically enables interest-based advertising through the collection and processing of data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID based on the pages you visited. Further data processing only takes place if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged into Google during your visit to our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing.
For website analysis and event tracking, we measure your subsequent usage behavior via Google Ads Conversion Tracking when you have reached our website through a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies may be used for this purpose, and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a webpage or newsletter registration) may be collected, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.
Google Maps
For the visual representation of geographical information, data about your use of the Maps functions, in particular the IP address and location data, are collected by Google Maps, transmitted to Google, and then processed by Google. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.
Google reCAPTCHA
For the purpose of protecting against misuse of our web forms as well as spam by automated software (so-called bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, time of visit, browser information, and information about your use of our website) and performs an analysis of your use of our website using so-called JavaScript and cookies. In addition, other cookies stored by Google services in your browser are evaluated. No reading or storing of personal data from the input fields of the respective form takes place.
Google Fonts
To ensure a consistent presentation of content on our website, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected through the script code "Google Fonts", transmitted to Google, and then processed by Google. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.
Google Tag Manager
Through Google Tag Manager, we can manage various codes and services on our website. When implementing individual tags, Google may also process personal data (e.g., IP address, online identifiers (including cookies)). The data processing is based on an agreement on order processing with Google.
The use of Google Tag Manager allows the integration of various services/technologies.
If you do not wish to use individual tracking services and have therefore deactivated them, the deactivation will remain in effect for all affected tracking tags that are integrated through the Google Tag Manager.
7.2 Use of Facebook Services
Use of Facebook Pixel
We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies presented below from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Block J, Serpentine Avenue, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Facebook (by Meta)" or "Meta Platforms Ireland"). With the Facebook Pixel, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or newsletter registration) is automatically collected and stored, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. For this purpose, when visiting our website, a cookie is automatically set by the Facebook Pixel, which automatically enables the recognition of your browser on other websites using a pseudonymous cookie ID. Facebook (by Meta) will combine this information with other data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services related to website usage, especially personalized and group-based advertising.
The information about your use of our website automatically collected by Facebook (by Meta) technologies is usually transmitted to a server of Meta Platforms, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, and stored there. Further information about data processing by Facebook can be found in the Facebook (by Meta) Privacy Policy.
Our service providers are located in and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have determined an adequate level of data protection by decision: USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Argentina.
The adequacy decisions for the USA serve as the basis for third-country transfers, provided that the respective service provider is certified. A certification is in place.
Our service providers are located in and/or use servers in these countries: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Brazil, Mexico. There is no adequacy decision from the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council for these countries. Our cooperation with them is based on these guarantees: Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
Facebook Analysis
As part of the Facebook Business Tools, statistics about visitor activities on our website are created from the data collected via the Facebook Pixel regarding your use of our website. The data processing is carried out based on an agreement on order processing by Facebook (by Meta). Your analysis serves the optimal presentation and marketing of our website.
Facebook Ads (Ads Manager)
We advertise this website on Facebook (by Meta) and other platforms through Facebook Ads. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. Facebook (by Meta) is responsible for the exact implementation, especially the decision regarding the placement of ads for individual users. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is based on an agreement between joint controllers according to Art. 26 GDPR. The joint responsibility is limited to the collection of data and its transmission to Meta Platforms Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Meta Platforms Ireland is not covered by this.
Based on the statistics created via Facebook Pixel about visitor activities on our website, we operate group-based advertising on Facebook (by Meta) through Facebook **Custom Audience**, by determining the characteristics of the respective target group.
Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by the Facebook Pixel and the data collected about your usage behavior on our website, we operate personalized advertising via Facebook Pixel remarketing .
We measure your subsequent usage behavior for web analysis and event tracking via Facebook Pixel Conversions when you access our website through a Facebook Ads advertisement. The data processing is carried out based on an agreement on order processing by Facebook (by Meta).
7.3 Other providers of web analytics and online marketing services
Use of Hotjar for web analysis
For the purpose of website analysis, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website) are automatically collected and stored using technologies from Hotjar Ltd., Dragonara Business Centre 5th Floor, Dragonara Road, Paceville St Julian's STJ 3141, Malta ("Hotjar"), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. The pseudonymized usage profiles are not combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without a separately given, explicit consent. Hotjar acts on our behalf for us.
Use of Klar!
We use the services of Klar (Klar Insights GmbH, Marktstr. 18, 80802 Munich, Germany) on our website. Klar collects, processes, and stores data on this website and its subpages for reach measurement and statistical analysis on our behalf. This collection is based on the following legal basis: If the user has given consent according to Article 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR and § 25(1) sentence 1 TTDSG, the data to be processed is collected in a user-related manner. Different cookies are used for the aforementioned different types of data collection to ensure the respective type of collection.
To fundamentally object to the use of Klar, please use this link. This will set a cookie named "do_not_track" from the domain "doctormi.de". Please do not delete this cookie, as otherwise it cannot be guaranteed that you will not be tracked by Klar. Information on data protection and data usage by Klar can be found on the following website: https://www.getklar.com/data-protection
Use of Clarity
This website uses the web analytics service of the following provider: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399 USA
Using cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymized visitor data, including information about the device used such as the IP address and browser information, in order to analyze it for statistical analyses of usage behavior on our website and to create pseudonymized usage profiles. Among other things, this allows the evaluation of movement patterns (so-called heatmaps), which show the duration of page visits as well as interactions with page content (e.g., text inputs, scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs). The pseudonymization generally excludes a direct personal reference. There is no merging with clear data about you collected by other means.
All processing described above, in particular reading or storing information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. 8. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge/ other widgets
To display the Trusted Shops services (e.g., quality seal, collected reviews) as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order, Trusted Shops widgets are integrated on this website.
This serves to protect our overriding legitimate interests in optimal marketing through enabling secure shopping in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offering of Trusted Shops SE, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne ("Trusted Shops"), with whom we are jointly responsible for data protection in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. In the context of this privacy notice, we inform you below about the essential contractual contents pursuant to Art. 26 para. 2 GDPR.
Within the framework of the joint responsibility between us and Trusted Shops SE, please preferably contact Trusted Shops for data protection questions and to assert your rights using the contact options provided in the data protection information . Regardless of this, you can always contact the responsible party of your choice. Your inquiry will then, if necessary, be forwarded to the other responsible party for response.
8.1 Data processing when integrating the Trustbadge/other widgets
The Trustbadge is provided by a US-based CDN provider (Content Delivery Network). An adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the EU Commission (available here) or the Swiss Federal Council (available here). Service providers used from the USA are generally certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (together "DPF"). Further information is available here. If service providers used are not certified under the DPF, standard contractual clauses have been concluded as an appropriate safeguard.
When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the call. The IP address is anonymized immediately after collection, so that the stored data cannot be attributed to you personally. The anonymized data is used in particular for statistical purposes and for error analysis.
8.2 Data processing after order completion
After completing the order, the Trustbadge accesses order information stored in your end device (order total, order number, possibly purchased product) as well as your email address. This is necessary to offer you the Trusted Shops services and, if applicable, to automatically secure your order. For this purpose, your email address, hashed using a cryptographic one-way function, is transmitted to Trusted Shops. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
This serves to verify whether you are already registered for services with Trusted Shops and is therefore necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops' overriding legitimate interests in providing the buyer protection linked to the specific order and the transactional review services in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. If this is the case, further processing will take place in accordance with the contractual agreement made between you and Trusted Shops. If you are not yet registered for the services, you will subsequently have the opportunity to do so for the first time. Further processing after registration is also governed by the contractual agreement with Trusted Shops. If you do not register, all transmitted data will be automatically deleted by Trusted Shops and personal reference will no longer be possible.
Trusted Shops uses service providers in the areas of hosting, monitoring, and logging. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR for the purpose of ensuring uninterrupted operation. Processing may take place in third countries (USA and Israel). An adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the EU Commission, which is available for the USA here and for Israel here. Service providers used from the USA are generally certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Further information is available here. If service providers used are not certified under the DPF, standard contractual clauses have been concluded as an appropriate guarantee.
Deviating from the previous paragraph, the following applies to personal data concerning Switzerland: Until the adoption of the Swiss adequacy decision for the USA, data transfer will continue to rely on the standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.
